QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE
The quality of the VR experience is dependant on the following
- Smartphone Type
- Processor Speed
- Screen Size and ppi Ratio
- Operating System ( IOS, ANDROID, WINDOWS MOBILE )
*A minimum of 5" and 1080p with a high ppi is recommended
*A UHD 5.7" smartphone for the higest current experience ( Scalable with newer Gen phones )
- Quality of Playback file
- If playing a VR video or viewing VR images the quality of the experience is directly related to the quality of the media itself. Thus a better experience can be found with higher quality media files
- The download source determines the videos effects ( VR, 3D, 2D )
- The quality of the media in an APP determines the VR experience
- Speed of Internet Connection
- all sources streaming off the internet will be directly affected by the speed of the connection
- Wifi connections on high speed fibre networks is recommended for playback of constant 1080p and higher resolutions ( Up to 4K )
- LTE 4G connections can support streaming of 4k footage only in areas with high consistant signal strength
- Other Factors
- Scratches on the surface of your smartphone screen as well as different types of screen protectors may affect the VR experience
